Networking & Education for Lactation Professionals
WHAT WE DO The Bay Area Lactation Associates (BALA) provides education and professional networking for those who provide skilled lactation care.
WHO WE ARE Lactation Consultants, Doulas, Childbirth Educators, Dietitians, La Leche League Leaders, Nursing Mothers Counselors, Nurses, Physicians, Pediatric Dentists, WIC staff, Peer Counselors, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and anyone else who is interested in supporting lactating families.
MEETINGS: WHERE, WHEN AND AGENDA Meetings are held 5 times a year via Zoom. There is an opportunity to network with other professionals, as well as an educational component at each meeting.
